The cost of opening a Zelen Shoes franchise is a one time $6,500 administration fee.

$15,000 cash is also needed strictly to renovate the proposed new retail store (This amount may vary depending on the space). This amount will not be obtained by Zelen Shoes but must be shown.

Included in the cost of a franchise is the following:

• POS system, business cards, bags, grand opening flyers.
• 2 week training program in Vancouver, BC
• A store opening personal to assist in the opening (for a maximum of 2 weeks)
• Right to use the Trademarks

The franchisee will be responsible to pay for all development costs.

At Zelen Shoes we want to work with our partners so we will be more then happy to take any recommendations for a purposed store.

Project earning statements are provided to candidates that complete an application form; this information is only available in initial stages of the application process.

On-going payments include:

• A monthly royalty fee of 2.5% of gross sales for the term of License (For the first year there will be no royalty fee)
• An advertisement fee of $100 a month
• At the end of each 4 year period of the license term, at the sole discretion of Zelen Shoes an obligation to refurbish the store to meet current Zelen Shoes standards.

The Term of License Agreement is usually 8 years and usually with options to renew for an additional 8 years.

• 15 days to pay for any merchandise sold to your store

• Internet advertising like there is no tomorrow; we dedicate a team of great staff members to make sure the world knows where you are. This includes facebook, google, yahoo, and bing.
• Guarantee; if you are unable to operate your store, we will take over the store (at the consent of the franchisee and landlord)

The total investment needed is $121,500 this includes renovation, administration fee, and also starting inventory.
