Here's some exciting news: it's just been announced that Nike & Converse will be collaborating to release the Skate Ambassador Collection in spring 2012. Pro skaters Nick Trapasso, Anthony Pappalardo and Kenny Anderson (who have previously done collaborations with Converse) will each have shoes released on February 1st, 2012. As an aside,  Trapasso has just started his own company, Life Extension Skateboards.

Trapasso's signature shoe is called the CONS Trapasso Pro, and it sounds incredibly comfortable. It features a full memory foam collar and  a multi-density sock liner that conforms to the skater's feet and keeps them comfortable. The CONS Trapasso Pro will be available in two colour combinations: black and white or gray and cranberry, and in either suede or leather materials.

The CONS Pappalardo Pro is a 1970s style and comes in either canvas or suede, and brown and black or gray and red. The KA-ONE will also be a 1970s style, in suede or leather, and a number of colour combinations.
