by JessI love my Jack Purcells!!! I bought the leather to replace my canvas ones that I had worn so much that they had holes in them. I wanted the leather because it is a bit more sturdy and would be easier to keep clean and I do love that about them. The only TEENY TINY drawback with the leather ones is that the tongue doesn't sit as flat as it does with the canvas ones, so it takes a bit of adjusting to make the shoes perfectly comfy. But really, that is only a very minor issue and I think with time the leather will soften and stretch, rendering the issue a non-issue!
