A distinctive yellow welt stitch, a two tone grooved sole edge and a unique sole pattern were nothing else, but well known 1460 boot. Launched as a functional work-boot in a short amount of time it became a fashion and cultural statement, symbol of rebellion and social revolution.
The 1460 is the original Dr. Martens boot. The unisex boot's recognizable DNA looks like this: 8 eyes, grooved sides, a heel-loop, yellow stitching, and a comfortable, air-cushioned sole. The boot sits on iconic AirWair™ sole, which is oil and fat resistant with good abrasion and slip resistance, and is made with Arcadia, a two tone rub-off leather designed to tarnish with wear, revealing a base color underneath.

Clean Away dirt using a damp cloth, allow to dry apply a Dr.Martens clear or colour wax based shoe polish as appropriate to restore shine as desired. Do not use any leather cleaners on this leather they could damage the 2 tone effect.
