History of Dr. Martens shoes starts more than 100 years ago , but the first true iconic boot emerged in 1960. A distinctive yellow welt stitch, a two tone grooved sole edge and a unique sole pattern were nothing else, but well known 1460 boot. Launched as a functional work-boot in a short amount of time it became a fashion and cultural statement, symbol of rebellion and social revolution.
This is the Magdalena, a woman's high-heeled ankle zip boot. First things first: extra height and street cred come in the form of an edgy, tough heel. The sole is cemented to the upper, but retains its Doc DNA with grooved sides. Made with Wyoming Leather—which has an oily surface and subtle grain which naturally distresses and patinas. Adding shine to Wyoming Leather is easy, just use Wonder Balsam. The Magdalena zip bootie is made with the iconic air-cushioned sole, that's oil-and-fat resistant with good abrasion and slip resistance—and has been since 1960. Heel height is 3 3/4" and platform is 1".

Clean Away dirt using a damp cloth, allow to dry apply a clear wax based shoe polish to restore shine as desired. In the event of heavy scuffing or loss of colour then clean as before but add a matching coloured wax based shoe polish and buff up the leather with brush and cloth as required.
